COVID- 19 Instructions

When are you Infectious? (i.e. can spread COVID to others )

Beginning 48 hours (2 days) before symptoms started or from the date of positive COVID Test (if no symptoms)

Ending when you are considered recovered.
While you have symptoms...
-
Stay at home. You don't have to self-isolate unless you live with a person who is at higher risk.

For 7 days from symptoms began or from the day of positive COVID Test (if no symptoms), all people who test positive should also:

Avoid higher risk people and places.

Wear a mask when in indoor public places, public transit and crowded spaces.
When are you Recovered?

7 Full days after the start of symptoms or from the date of the positive COVID Test (if no symptoms)

Also symptoms have been improving for at least 24 hours OR 48 hours if you have gastrointestinal symptoms such as diarrhea or vomiting and don't have a fever.

Some people may have a lingering cough but if they meet the criteria above, they are no longer considered infectious.

Testing again soon after a positive test is not recommended. You do not need a negative test to be considered recovered.
Doctors at FRFP are not able to prescribe PAXLOVID.
Masking Policy Change Effective May 23rd 2024
Masks are required for patient and visitors who have a fever, cough, cold, respiratory issues and or flu-like symptoms.
We are still committed to making our space a safe space for our babies, elderly and individuals who are immunocompromised.
If you are experiencing any of the above we kindly ask you wear a mask prior to entering the clinic. If you do not have one please ask at the front desk when checking in.
