Welcome to Fall River Family Practice
Fall River Family Practice is a collaborative care full comprehensive medical practice providing primary care to many Nova Scotians. The clinic consists of 13 physicians, 2 family practice nurses, and an amazing team of administrative staff. We are lucky to have many visiting professionals such as psychologist, pedorthist and internal medicine specialist, who all help to provide the best care to our patients.

Two of our physicians have recently announced retirement plans for 2023. Dr. Laura Peters retired on March 31st and Dr. John McNab will retire June 9th. We wish them the very best as they transition into the next phase of their lives.

Both Dr. Peters and Dr. McNab have been successful in recruiting physicians to pass their practice and patient care on to. We are pleased to announce the addition of Dr. Sarah MacDonald (replacing Dr. Peters) and Dr. Anson Alvis (replacing Dr. McNab) to The Fall River Family Practice.
Please note Dr. MacDonald and Dr. Alvis will NOT be accepting new patients at this time.

If you are having difficulty getting through on our phone lines please note our non peak hours vary from day to day and are usually between the hours of 12:30 and 1:00 pm and 3:00 and 4:45 pm.

If you wish to cancel an appointment our cancellation line is 24/7 - option #5 on the main line. ANY messages left for non cancelation will not be attended. ​
